Mindful Mentorship
Mindful Mentorship
Holistic, Heart-Centered Support for Life’s Challenges and Transitions
You do not have to navigate life’s difficult seasons alone.
Mindful Mentorship offers a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to talk through whatever you may be carrying. You may be moving through a major life transition, experiencing relationship or family challenges, feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, questioning your direction, or simply longing for a deeper connection with yourself.
Our mentors approach this work as supportive guides for the soul. We blend intentional conversation, mindfulness, embodied awareness, personal reflection, and spiritually informed insight to support the whole person... mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
The spiritual element of these sessions is welcoming and flexible rather than religious. You do not need to follow a particular belief system or identify as spiritual to participate. Your personal values, beliefs, experiences, and boundaries will always be honored.
There is no single reason you need to seek support, and you do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes you may simply know that something feels heavy, confusing, disconnected, or ready to change.
Mindful Mentorship may support you as you navigate:
Stress, overwhelm, or emotional uncertainty
Grief, loss, or significant life changes
Relationships, family dynamics, or changing roles
Questions of identity, purpose, or direction
Burnout or disconnection from yourself
Spiritual curiosity, growth, or transition
A desire for greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding
The everyday ups and downs of being human
Some people schedule an individual session whenever they need additional encouragement, perspective, or a safe place to reflect. Others choose to meet regularly for more consistent support as they move through an ongoing season of growth or change.
There is no one-size-fits-all path. Our mentors meet you where you are, honor what matters most to you, and gently support you as you move toward a happier, healthier, and more connected version of yourself.
A Different Kind of Support
Traditional therapy often focuses on identifying and treating mental-health symptoms, processing psychological concerns, and working toward clinical goals. This work can be deeply valuable and may be the most appropriate form of support for many individuals.
Mindful Mentorship offers something different.
Rather than viewing you primarily through the lens of a diagnosis, our mentors support you in exploring your experiences as a whole person... mind, body, emotions, relationships, values, and spirit. A diagnosis may describe part of what someone is experiencing, but it does not define the fullness of who they are.
Our approach creates room to explore questions such as:
- What might this season of life be asking me to learn?
- What parts of myself have I lost touch with?
- What patterns, beliefs, or experiences may be keeping me stuck?
- What does my body or inner wisdom seem to be communicating?
- How can I move forward in a way that feels more authentic and aligned?
Sessions may draw upon mindfulness, embodied awareness, nervous system education, reflective conversation, intuitive insight, Western understandings of human behavior, and wisdom inspired by Eastern and contemplative philosophies. These perspectives are offered gently and collaboratively, with respect for your individual beliefs and comfort level.
Mindful Mentorship is not intended to diagnose or treat mental illness. It may be a meaningful fit for individuals who are seeking personal reflection, spiritual exploration, greater self-understanding, and compassionate support through life’s challenges and transitions.
You do not need to reject traditional therapy or identify with a particular diagnosis to explore yourself from a broader, more soulful perspective.
Meet Your Mentors
Mindful Mentorship sessions are offered by Kristen Janica and Jonte Janica, who bring their own experiences, strengths, and complementary perspectives to the mentoring relationship.
Depending on your needs and preferences, you may choose to meet individually with Kristen or Jonte. Our goal is not to tell you how to live your life, but to help you slow down, listen inward, explore what you are experiencing, and reconnect with the wisdom and strength already within you.
You are welcome to come exactly as you are.
Kristen Janica
Kristen brings more than a decade of experience supporting individuals through emotional challenges, personal growth, grief, and life transitions. Her background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has given her a deep understanding of human behavior, emotional patterns, relationships, and the many experiences that shape who we become.
While this professional foundation informs her perspective, Kristen’s Mindful Mentorship sessions are intentionally non-clinical and extend beyond a traditional Western medical model. Her approach honors the whole person... mind, body, emotions, and spirit... and creates space for meaningful reflection, personal insight, and spiritually informed support.
Kristen blends intuitive insight with mindfulness, mind–body awareness, nervous system support, and holistic perspectives. As a certified yoga teacher and children’s book author, she brings warmth, creativity, compassion, and a grounded presence to each session.
Rather than telling individuals what choices to make, Kristen gently helps them slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with their own wisdom. Her work supports individuals in moving through life with greater clarity, balance, self-understanding, and trust in themselves.

Jonte Janica
Jonte’s work is grounded in integration, embodiment, spiritual awareness, and personal empowerment. With a background in alternative medicine and extensive experience supporting others through difficult life experiences, he offers a direct yet grounded presence for individuals seeking meaningful change.
Jonte has a particular passion for working with men who feel disconnected from themselves, uncertain of their identity, or caught between who they have been and who they feel called to become. He helps men move beyond simply understanding the person they want to be and begin embodying that identity through their choices, relationships, boundaries, and daily actions.
His approach invites individuals to explore their soul path... the deeper values, lessons, and sense of purpose shaping their lives... so they can make decisions that support the changes they wish to embody. Rather than offering surface-level advice, Jonte encourages honest self-examination, personal responsibility, and the integration of insight into lived experience.
Jonte also brings significant experience supporting individuals as they process the lasting effects of personal and sexual trauma. His steady, nonjudgmental approach creates space for difficult experiences to be acknowledged with honesty and compassion, while helping individuals reconnect with their strength, dignity, and sense of wholeness.
Through Mindful Mentorship, Jonte supports individuals in recognizing old patterns, reclaiming their inner authority, and becoming more fully aligned with the person they know themselves capable of being. His work is not only about discovering who you are... it is about learning to embody that truth in the way you live.
