All sessions are personally guided by Kristen Janica, founder of Simply Sunshine Co., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and certified trauma-informed yoga practitioner.

At Simply Sunshine Co., yoga therapy is not a class.

It is a structured, personalized therapeutic experience designed to support your nervous system, your body, and your emotional healing.

This is where science meets embodiment.


The Process

Step One: Mandatory Intake Session

60-Minute Virtual Intake – $150

Before beginning yoga therapy, all clients complete a one-hour intake session.

This session allows me to deeply understand:

  • Your current physical challenges
  • Emotional stressors or patterns
  • Mental health history
  • Trauma history (if applicable)
  • Nervous system regulation patterns
  • Goals for healing and growth

This is not a yoga session.

It is a structured assessment designed to ensure that your future sessions are intentional, safe, and tailored specifically to you.

Following the intake, I design a personalized yoga therapy plan aligned with your unique needs.


Step Two: Personalized Yoga Therapy Sessions

60-Minute Virtual Sessions – $95

Each session is custom-built based on your intake and ongoing progress.

Sessions may include:

  • Breathwork (pranayama)
  • Nervous system regulation practices
  • Gentle strengthening and stabilizing sequences
  • Trauma-informed movement
  • Somatic awareness practices
  • Supported postures
  • Guided relaxation and integration

No two sessions are the same... because no two nervous systems are the same.


Trauma-Informed & Clinically Attuned

I am certified in trauma-informed yoga therapy, and my background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker allows me to:

  • Recognize nervous system dysregulation
  • Move at a pace that feels safe
  • Modify practices when emotional material surfaces
  • Attune to subtle cues in body language and breath
  • Create a grounded, non-performative healing space

This is not about pushing limits.
This is about restoring safety within the body.


Location & Format

Yoga therapy sessions are primarily offered virtually.

If you would prefer an in-person experience, sessions may be arranged at Red Bird Cottage & Farm, where services are provided on-site through their wellness programming.
